Sadly, I think I'm going to have to bow out of the A-Z. Dwindling posts over the last week probably clued you in to that already though.
Remember that post I did on energy and exhaustion? Well, that list just keeps getting longer (more manuscripts, MORE assignments) and all of my spare time is being spent trying to get through everything I need to do.
The A-Z has motivated me to be a more regular blogger though, but I just don't think I can afford the time to post every day at the moment.
I'm going to keep trying to get around to other A-Zers blogs, and I wish you all the best of luck in getting through to the end of the month. Thanks for popping in and commenting on the posts I did write.
Keep writing!
Sari
Awww...so bummed. I just found your blog and it's lovely. Even if you're not going to finish the challenge, I would definitely like to read more of your work.
ReplyDeleteKeep smiling. There's always next year.
It's a tough job: 26 posts in 26 days with very little break in between. I knew I couldn't do it, so I got 26 people to write guest posts for us. I'm having a difficult time visiting folks as well. I can't do it on a daily basis, but I've visited about 15 in the last hour or so. Doing all my blog hopping for the week on one day.
ReplyDeleteNext year is always a good goal. You could pre-write all the posts ahead of time.
We have our reasons. I'm still going to try to do a few posts here and there, but it's just too difficult to juggle with the stuff I have on my plate. (Honestly, when I signed up for this challenge, I had 10 free hours a day. Now I'm like negative 4 hours of free time a day.)
ReplyDeleteHaving done the A-Z by the seat of my pants last year I pre-scheduled all my posts for this year's challenge in order to have more time for blog-hopping. That aside, I'm still having trouble trying to visit a goodly amount of bloggers each day!
ReplyDeleteTrust your workload will become more manageable and hope you'll be able to join in again next year! ;-)
SueH I refuse to go quietly!

I understand. It is a big time commitment. Hope to get to know you better when you feel less overwhelmed.
ReplyDeleteAt least I found you, and I can keep following you :-)
ReplyDeleteWe have to do what's best for us. You gave it a shot. I hope the month gets better.
ReplyDeleteHello, Sari! The A to Z Blogging Challenge is a big time and energy commitment. Good for you for getting as far as you did! I like your blog and I'm wishing you all the best on your writing journey!!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week and happy A to Z!!
Ahh, I'm sorry to hear that. Best of luck with your other commitments, and it was nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteYou've done really well with the challenge and should be really proud.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really nice blog you have here as well :)
There are so many good, fun ideas around but I'm having to limit what I do too as I haven't worked out how to do the Superwoman thing ;)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all your work and assignments.
Well, things happen, no worries! Enjoy whatever you are doing at the moment - that's the key to life! :)
ReplyDeleteRoadtrip: On my way from A all the way to Z!
